Our Story
As a physician associate with a medical degree from Duke, I've had the privilege of caring for patients with a wide range of health concerns. Time and again, regardless of the primary reason for their visit, sleep issues emerge as a recurring and significant theme in our conversations.
Like a lot of my patients, I’ve dealt with my own sleep issues and it’s frustrating. I can wake up multiple times a night, sometimes for no clear reason, and start the next day tired.
In my practice, I’ve seen how sleep problems can show up for many causes—hormonal shifts, anxiety, jet lag, caffeine, anatomical issues, alcohol, diet, stress, and more.
